What is ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that originated in India over 5000 years ago. The word "Ayurveda" is derived from Sanskrit and means "knowledge of life" or "science of life". It is based on the idea that the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected, and that health and wellness depend on finding balance between these elements.
Ayurveda is gaining popularity in modern practice due to its holistic approach to health and its focus on personalized medicine. It recognizes that each person and animal is unique and therefore requires an individualized approach to treatment. Ayurvedic practitioners use plant based formulations that eliminate dangerous side effects compared to synthetic drugs. Ayurvedic medicine also emphasizes disease prevention by promoting a healthy lifestyle and proper diet. About Theresa
With a passion for the wellbeing of horses and a deep understanding of Ayurvedic Medicine, Theresa has built a successful career as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, specializing in traditional formulations and lifestyle management specifically for horses. In addition to being a Neuro Myofascial Practitioner, Theresa employs Cranial Osteopathy and Neurosomatic practices to provide comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation to her equine clients.Her innovative approach led to the launch of the first-of-its-kind Ayurvedic treatment centre for horses, where she collaborates with some of the most influential Doctors in India and California.
Always striving to provide effective solutions,Theresa has recently curated a biologically appropriate nutrition protocol based on each horse's unique constitution, which will soon become publicly available.
Her commitment to horse healthcare extends worldwide, working with all types of horses - from companions to high-performance athletes. Through her dedication and expertise, Theresa continues to contribute significantly to the global equine community.
As a forever student of Ayurveda and the horse, Theresa continues her education in Advanced Clinical studies and is currently working towards completion of the Animal Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Certification.

Born from the need to bridge the gap between acute based treatment and root cause disease management. We take a true integrative approach to ease case and work closely with our veterinarians from Canada and the US.
